Last summer while in Southern California, I met Lori and Jon and we went to hike Bommer Canyon in Orange County to take some photos. These two were such a dream to work with and seriously, could they be any cuter? I am so, so stoked to be photographing their wedding this May and can’t wait to see them again and to catch up. Love when my couples become friends.
Their love for each other absolutely shows in every photo. We had so much fun roaming the Canyon for shade, or better for good light and we laughed a lot. I am so thankful for couples like these two, who make my job an absolute blast!
Can’t wait for their wedding! :-)
I always wonder if people still read blogs, or if this is so 2009? I obviously love what I do and always want to recount the story behind the photos I take, but maybe a photo is worth a 1000 words, right?
So here are a few from my session with Marion + Dough. Enjoy :)
I don’t get to photograph elopements as much as I’d love to, since they are my favorite in like EVER, so here are some of my favorite photos of this amazing elopement. Cam and Abbey, you were so fun to photograph and your love shines through all of these pics.
This wedding is very special to my heart! Jackie and Ryan are the nicest humans ever and their wedding was already scheduled for last year September, the day after hurricane Irma hit Southwest Florida. The Botanical Garden had to close due to the weather and Jackie and Ryan’s wedding was cancelled, shortly before all their relatives arrived from out of State. They went to Italy for their honeymoon nevertheless and rescheduled their wedding for the following April. I was so excited to finally document their day and believe that with all they went through, their day ended up being just perfect :)
Here are a few of my faves:
In Southwest Florida our most beautiful seasons are spring and fall. The flowers bloom, the temperature is close to perfect and there is almost no humidity in the air. This was definitely one of the reasons why Lauren and Diego got married in March in one of Naples’ most stunning locations, the Naples Botanical Garden.
Lauren and Diego met a few years back and started a daily first, before they decided to tie the knot. Their almost one yearly daughter and four year old son were the cutest ever.
There was so much love on this day and I couldn’t have been happier to be able to document their special day! Thanks so much for having us Lauren and Diego, we were so thankful to be part of your celebration!
So I am keeping this trend going and am blogging for the second time this week, haha. I have so many shoots to blog about, so here we go.
A few months back Ashtyn and Will decided to renew their wows at a a private little spot at the beach. Ashtyn is herself an amazing wedding photographer and Catherine, who organized everything for them as well, so it was really fun hanging out with these two, plus Ashtyn’s hubs of course.
The reason they did their vow renewal after only a few years of marriage was that they didn’t really like their wedding photos when they got married and I can so relate to that, it absolutely was the same for Sal and me. :)
Anyway, these two are the nicest humans ever and this remains one of my favorite shoots so far!
